Reply:wow. you've got 3d studio don't you? you should post some pics of your 3ds work.

I bet your system is a little slow huh? you've got a lot of stuff running!

retadpu1000272.exe is a trojan

its strange to me how some of the processes are capitalized.

Mine aren't.

get spybot, install it, update it, then use it to scan, oh and then be sure to choose fix selected problems when its done scanning. also allow spybot to run on start up. that way it'll destroy the malware before it has a chance to load into memory.

Reply:To make sure for certain that these aren't viruses/spyware, do a scan with your availible anti virus/anti spyware program. If any of these comes up in the scan (as a virus or malware infection) get rid of them. Most of these are just basic system things that should stay on your computer (i.e. Wordpad, iPod service, iTunes helper, etc.). If you don't have any anti virus/anti spy programs, get a security suite from Norton, McAffee, or PC Tools.

Good luck!
Reply:There are numorous sites that list startup programs and running processes, what program they belong to, what are necessary, and whether they're malware (or used by malware) or not. Just do a Google search of the particular process ("spool32.exe" for example) and you'll come up with them.
Reply:iexplore, Intelmem, iPod service, iTunesHelper, svchost, system, system idle process, taskmgr, and wordpad and spool32 are good.

not sure about the rest. They probably are good, but they could get infected

even the ones i said above could be infected
Reply:I have the feeling this is a sadist malicious by a prankster for "bragging rights" (SEE kiidie scripts) post by someone who well knows of "same name threats" meaning that there is well known malware that intentionally uses the same file name as the legitimate Windows Operating System Operating System components.
